SECURITY

According to the Oxford Dictionary, security means  the activities involved in protecting a country, building or person against attack, danger, etc. When we think of the word security, we usually think about being secure from being physically hurt by someone.

But is that all? Does security conclude there only?

No, security is actually the state of being sure, being sure that you are not going to be hurt by anyone mentally or physically, being sure that you are going to get all the 3 meals today. There can be many types of securities.

Food Security - Being sure that you are going to get adequate food with proper nutritional values.

Emotional Security - Being sure that you have someone, with whom you can share your feelings, who is always there to back you up, who is always going to be there with you.

Shelter Security - Being sure that you have a roof to live under, even when you don't have a job you have a house to live in, you don't have to go around in search of places to live in.

Job Security - Being sure that you have a job, you have a work to do to earn money.

Financial Security - Being sure that you have enough money to buy necessities for yourself and the ones depending on you.

Education Security - Being sure that you get proper education and are not compelled to leave education because of any reason.

Cyber Security - Being sure that no one is going to harass, bully or trouble you through the internet.

And not just these but many more....

But is it possible that a person can have more than one type of security or crave for more than one type of security? Of course it is possible. We see so many people around us everyday either having or craving for more than one type of security.

Security is never a want, it is always a need. Education, food, shelter, etc. are a need. You can't live without food, you can't live your whole life searching for a shelter to live in. Similarly, every other type of security is a need and not a want.
